On April 5, Forbes reported that Tesla has launched the 2026 Long Range All-Wheel Drive Model Y in the United States, priced at $49,990. This new variant boasts a $10,000 reduction compared to the Launch series, which has since been removed from the order page. The EPA estimates the new Model Y to have a range of 327 miles, with an acceleration of 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 125 mph, delivering performance comparable to the Launch series. Factoring in the $7,500 federal tax credit, the effective price drops to $41,490.
