Pony.ai has proudly announced the acquisition of Luxembourg's inaugural Robotaxi testing permit, granted by the Ministry of Transport and Public Works. This milestone solidifies Pony.ai's position as one of the pioneering enterprises authorized for road testing in the country. Prior achievements include obtaining autonomous driving testing permits in China, the United States, and South Korea. Last September, Pony.ai established a European R&D center in Luxembourg and inked a cooperation memorandum with local travel firm Emile Weber, aiming to jointly advance the research, development, and deployment of autonomous driving technology. The attainment of this permit signifies a significant leap forward for Pony.ai in the global autonomous driving landscape.
