The Ministry of Natural Resources has successfully formulated 15 industry standards, among them the "Technical Specifications for the Security and Protection of Intelligent Vehicle Base Map Data Transmission." These specifications have undergone review and have been made public since April 2nd. The primary objective of these standards is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of intelligent vehicles by clearly defining transmission scenarios, establishing fundamental requirements, and outlining security protection measures for intelligent vehicle base map data. Prominent entities involved in the drafting process include the Chinese Academy of Surveying and Mapping, Huawei, E-Mapgo, Baidu, and Gaode.
