Tesla currently holds a backlog of nearly 2,400 Cybertrucks in the United States, amounting to an inventory value of $200 million. This substantial figure underscores the significant sales challenges faced by the electric truck. Despite an increase in Cybertruck production since mass production commenced approximately a year and a half ago, inventory levels have surged rapidly. To manage this growth, Tesla has imposed production limits and recalled all produced Cybertrucks to address issues related to falling body trim. While last year's sluggish sales could be attributed to factors like insufficient production capacity, these obstacles have been mitigated this year; nonetheless, the sales conundrum remains unresolved.
