Xiaomi Group intends to enhance the capacity of its second electric vehicle manufacturing facility located in Beijing. The remarkable success of Xiaomi's inaugural vehicle has prompted CEO Lei Jun to elevate this year's delivery goal to 350,000 units. The company commenced construction on its second factory in Yizhuang, Beijing, last year, investing RMB 842 million to secure 53 hectares of land. Industry insiders indicate that Xiaomi plans to incorporate an additional 52 hectares of adjacent land for further expansion, though specific details remain undisclosed. Xiaomi has yet to comment on these developments.
