On March 17, BYD introduced the groundbreaking "flash charging battery," boasting a peak charging power of 1 megawatt—the highest in mass-produced batteries worldwide—achieved through 1000V ultra-high voltage and 1000A ultra-high current. This remarkable technology allows for a 5-minute charge to deliver a driving range of 400 kilometers. In a bid to accelerate industry advancements, BYD aims to establish over 4,000 megawatt flash charging stations and open its technology to foster collaboration across the sector.
