On March 18, news broke that Neta Auto had initiated the disbandment of its Research and Development (R&D) team. According to insiders, the entire R&D team will be dissolved, with employees who complete their resignation procedures this week being eligible for N+1 compensation, valid until May 30. A member of Neta Auto's internal R&D staff at the Tongxiang factory confirmed this development, noting that the company mandated relevant employees to sign resignation agreements on March 18. Currently, Neta Auto employs approximately 1,700 individuals, of whom around 200 are in the process of finalizing their resignation procedures.
