On March 18, GAC Group hosted a press conference to unveil its GAC Starlink Smart Mobility Action Plan, and officially commenced pre-sales for the AION Hyper GT HL model. Chairman of GAC Group, Feng Xingya, disclosed that the Group aims to commence mass production and sales of L3 autonomous driving models in 2025, while simultaneously initiating production of L4 autonomous driving pre-installed mass-production models. By 2026, GAC Group intends to establish itself as an automotive enterprise driving the large-scale operation of L4 autonomous driving products, with plans to introduce L4 autonomous driving models tailored for individual users in 2027. Furthermore, by 2025, GAC Group's premium brand AION will equip all its models with advanced intelligent driving systems. Additionally, both GAC Trumpchi and GAC AION will be fully integrated with intelligent driving and automated parking capabilities, with all mainstream models being fitted with high-level intelligent driving systems.
