As the 2025 Hangzhou Problematic Car Exhibition commenced, a Land Rover draped in a multi-colored waterproof tarp was prominently towed to the venue for a rights protection demonstration. The vehicle's body bore poignant slogans such as "Downpour outside, drizzle inside: Original imported car becomes a waterlogged mess," "Land Rover claims this is a one-off incident?" and "608 days of rights advocacy, manufacturer ignores, dealer shuts down." The vehicle's owner recounted that the Land Rover was purchased for 900,000 yuan in 2021. However, in June 2023, a severe rainstorm led to significant water intrusion into the car, resulting in damage to its electrical components. Despite numerous attempts to negotiate with Land Rover and the 4S dealership, the owner faced a brick wall, with the dealership adopting a dismissive attitude. Consequently, the owner has resorted to legal action. Adding insult to injury, the owner also revealed receiving threatening phone calls from the dealership during their rights advocacy journey.
