On October 22, Tesla unveiled its financial results for the third quarter of 2026. The report showed that the company manufactured over 464,000 all-electric vehicles worldwide, marking a 2.7% increase from the previous quarter. It also delivered more than 486,000 vehicles, up 1.3% sequentially. Elon Musk highlighted that demand for Tesla vehicles is surging, far outstripping current production capabilities. To address this, Tesla is scaling up its manufacturing capacity, aiming to produce approximately 5 million vehicles annually by around 2030. In the energy sector, Tesla's energy storage product installations reached 13.7 gigawatt-hours, reflecting a year-on-year growth of about 9.6%. Meanwhile, production of the humanoid robot has commenced at the Fremont factory. Tesla plans to incorporate the AI 5 chip into these robots by April 2027 and begin shipping them to external customers by the end of that year.
