On Wednesday Eastern Time, Tesla CEO Musk revealed during the earnings call that the demand for Tesla cars has surged, far exceeding the current production capacity, and the company is actively expanding its production scale. He pointed out that Full Self-Driving (FSD) is the main driver of demand, as no other models on the market can currently match Tesla in terms of FSD technology. Tesla is fully committed to producing and delivering vehicles while pushing for FSD approvals in more markets. Currently, FSD has already received approvals in multiple European countries, and Tesla hopes to secure approval across the entire EU. However, the approval timeline is uncertain—it could be completed within a few months or delayed until the first quarter of next year. Nevertheless, Tesla expects FSD to eventually receive approvals throughout Europe and in many other countries.
