On October 20, China Southern Airlines deployed, for the first time, the domestically manufactured C919 large aircraft to operate a round-trip route connecting Changsha and Yinchuan. This milestone marked the inaugural commercial passenger flight of the C919 in Yinchuan. At 18:15, flight CZ3925, carrying 148 passengers, smoothly touched down at Yinchuan Hedong International Airport, where it was welcomed with a traditional "water arch ceremony"—a ceremonial gesture often reserved for significant aviation events. China Southern Airlines is set to ensure the regular operation of this route moving forward and aims to broaden the reach of destinations served by domestically produced civil aircraft.
