On October 16, during the Roadster launch event, Musk showcased a video demonstrating the Roadster’s rocket-powered ejection system, which propelled the vehicle several meters into the air, clearing multiple cars in a dramatic leap. Musk also revealed that production of the Roadster sports car is set to begin in 2028. Following the announcement, Tesla’s stock experienced a brief dip in after-hours trading but has since rebounded, currently trading up by 1.67%.
