Media reports indicate that on October 15 (local time), Tesla hosted a launch event in Texas, USA, where it officially unveiled its second-generation Roadster sports car. The live demonstration of the actual vehicle featured impressive stunts, including short-term levitation and mid-air rolls, which garnered considerable attention. Equipped with around 10 thrusters and a 600-liter compressed air storage system, the car is capable of performing maneuvers such as taking off and spinning mid-air. The second-generation Roadster will come in three variants: Performance, Thrust, and Rocket. All versions boast a range of approximately 300 miles and can achieve top speeds exceeding 230 miles per hour. Tesla has announced plans to commence production of the Roadster in 2028. Reservations are currently open on the US official website, while the Chinese official website has initiated reservations specifically for the Performance version, requiring a reservation deposit of RMB 332,000. Furthermore, intellectual property data from Tianyancha reveals that Tesla applied to register the 'Roadster' trademark in August of this year under the international classification for transportation tools. The current status of the application is 'trademark application in progress.'
