On October 16, the Wall Street Journal reported that according to sources familiar with the matter, Mike Snyder, Tesla's Vice President of Energy and Charging Business, has left the company. Snyder joined Tesla in 2014 and was in charge of the Megapack industrial battery business unit. After Tesla underwent a company-wide restructuring and layoffs in 2024, Snyder was promoted to Vice President.
