In a recent post, Cui Dongshu highlighted that China's auto exports are poised for explosive growth by 2026. Between January and September, auto exports soared to 8.63 million units, marking a remarkable 52% year-on-year surge. This figure not only surpasses the total export volume for the entire year of 2025 but also showcases the industry's robust performance. Notably, September alone witnessed exports of 1.182 million units, reflecting a 55% year-on-year increase and a 13% month-on-month rise, signaling a strong growth trajectory. Over the same period, the total export value of automobiles reached an impressive $149.8 billion, representing a substantial 54% year-on-year increase. In September, the export value of complete vehicles skyrocketed to $20.8 billion, up by 62% year-on-year and 13% month-on-month, effectively breaking the trend of weaker exports at the end of the September quarter that had been observed from 2023 to 2025.
