On October 13, Zunjie Automobile issued a statement titled "Clarification on the Brake Pedal Inspection Results of the Zunjie V800." According to the announcement, on October 11, a nationally recognized third-party inspection body carried out a thorough examination of the brake pedal in the Zunjie V800 model. The findings confirmed that the brake pedal fully complied with the industry standard QC/T 788-2018, demonstrating a longitudinal force resistance of 1500N and an average displacement of just 2.61mm. Furthermore, during rigorous testing that applied a maximum force of 3000N, the pedal showed no signs of cracking or any form of damage. This news comes in the wake of a previous test conducted by Dongchedi, which had reported that the brake pedal bracket of the Zunjie V800 had fractured during an emergency braking scenario.
