On October 13, Zunjie Auto issued an official statement titled "Explanation on the Brake Pedal Testing of Zunjie V800." According to the statement, on October 11, 2026, a nationally accredited third-party testing organization conducted an inspection and confirmed that the brake pedal of the Zunjie V800 complied with the industry standard QC/T 788-2018. Specifically, under a longitudinal force test of 1500N, the brake pedal demonstrated an average displacement of just 2.61mm. Furthermore, when subjected to an even more rigorous test with a force of up to 3000N, the pedal showed no signs of cracks or any form of damage. This news comes in the wake of a previous incident where, during a third-party emergency braking test, the brake pedal bracket of the Zunjie V800 experienced a fracture, which had garnered considerable public attention.
