On October 11th, news emerged that CATL and Seres Group had forged a long-term strategic cooperation agreement in Chongqing on the preceding day, October 10th. Ever since the inception of the AITO brand, all its vehicle models have been outfitted with CATL batteries. As of now, the cumulative deliveries of these models have surpassed 1.2 million units. Taking this milestone as a fresh starting point, AITO is set to persist in fully equipping its models with CATL batteries. The two parties are also poised to deepen their collaboration across three pivotal domains: Firstly, they aim to expand the production capacity of the 'factory-within-a-factory' model and expedite the construction of the second phase of Seres' super factory, which is projected to have an annual production capacity ranging from 10 to 12 GWh. Upon completion, the overall annual production capacity is expected to exceed 20 GWh. Secondly, they will focus on constructing a supercharging ecosystem, with an emphasis on supercharging networks and battery services. This endeavor is geared towards establishing a comprehensive full-lifecycle service system and elevating the travel experience for vehicle owners. Thirdly, they are committed to accelerating global expansion by jointly venturing into overseas markets, including Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia. This move is anticipated to set a new benchmark for the globalization of new energy smart manufacturing.
