On September 20, BYD revealed at an investor relations event that in August 2026, its overseas sales of passenger cars and pickup trucks soared to 188,746 units, marking a significant year-on-year surge of 134.6%. The aggregate overseas sales from January to August amounted to 1,157,954 units. Presently, factories in Uzbekistan, Thailand, Brazil, and several other regions have commenced production. Additionally, BYD boasts eight ro-ro vessels in its self-operated overseas fleet, which further boosts global delivery efficiency and fortifies the resilience of its supply chain.
