On September 18, it was reported that the Economic Operation Exchange Meeting for Key Enterprises in the Automotive Industry for the third quarter of 2026, organized by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and co-hosted by China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. (CNHTC), will be held in Jinan, Shandong from September 16 to 18, 2026. Chen Shihua, Deputy Secretary-General of CAAM, Wang Jun, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of CNHTC, along with representatives from 23 key industry enterprises specializing in complete vehicles and components, including CNHTC, SAIC Motor, China FAW Group, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, Changan Automobile, BAIC Group, and GAC Group, will attend the meeting. The attendees will engage in in-depth discussions on hot topics such as the continued effects of the 'Two New' policies, boosting automobile consumption, quality and aftermarket, enterprise production and operation, industrial and supply chains, domestic and international investment operations, homogeneous competition, equal rights for fuel and electric vehicles, industry self-regulation, and export tax rebates.
