The official images of the latest BMW iX5 Hydrogen have just been released. This vehicle boasts a cutting-edge third-generation fuel cell system and is presently undergoing prototype testing. Upon successful validation, it is set to enter mass production at the Steyr plant in Austria. The exterior design of the new model closely resembles that of the BMW X5 and iX5, embodying a design language befitting the new era. It features innovative dynamic digital LED light clusters, seamlessly integrating daytime running lights and low-beam headlights for the first time. The primary focus of the testing phase is to fine-tune the collaborative performance of the fuel cell system, high-voltage battery, and electric motor. The goal is to achieve an impressive range of 750 kilometers, an acceleration time from 0-100km/h in under 5 seconds, and a remarkably swift hydrogen refueling time of less than 5 minutes.
