The highly anticipated 2027 BYD Yuan UP is slated to make its debut on September 17. This new model will be available in five distinct variants, with prices ranging from 75,000 to 105,000 yuan. The exterior design of the upcoming model largely mirrors that of the current version, but with a few notable enhancements. A new blue paint option has been introduced, and the charging port location has been adjusted for greater convenience. Despite these changes, the body dimensions remain consistent with the current model.

Inside, the new model retains the main design elements of its predecessor, featuring central control screens and LCD instruments in various sizes. When it comes to power, the new model offers two motor options: 100 kW and 120 kW. Correspondingly, the battery capacities are 42.313 kWh and 52.468 kWh, respectively. These improvements extend the pure electric range to 410 km and 505 km, catering to a wider range of driving needs.

According to reports, the vehicle is likely to be built on the advanced e-platform 3.0 Evo, which features a rear-wheel-drive layout and a rear four-link independent suspension. These technological advancements promise to enhance the vehicle's performance and driving experience. Moreover, high-end models may offer an optional LiDAR system and are expected to come equipped with a sophisticated driver-assistance system, further elevating the vehicle's safety and convenience features.
