At the 2026 World Dynamic Battery Conference in Yibin, Sichuan Province, Yin Tongyue, Chairman of Chery Holding Group, underscored the importance of industrial integration, symbiotic development, and global collaboration. He emphasized that companies should strive for balanced growth in terms of volume, pricing, and profitability. Yin highlighted that China's automotive exports are projected to exceed 10 million units this year, with new energy vehicles (NEVs) comprising over half of that total. He stressed that when venturing into global markets, it is crucial to "cultivate deeply" rather than seek immediate returns. Chery is dedicated to becoming an integral participant and contributor to local economies, as well as a responsible global corporate citizen.

By July, Chery's cumulative global sales had surpassed 20 million vehicles. Yin Tongyue announced that, going forward, Chery would shift its focus from solely pursuing sales volume to elevating its brand, creating value, achieving technological breakthroughs, and enhancing customer satisfaction. In August, Chery's sales reached 280,000 vehicles, marking a 15.4% year-on-year increase. NEV sales soared to 120,000 units, up 69.8% year-on-year, marking the fifth consecutive month of NEV sales exceeding 100,000 vehicles. Export volumes reached 196,984 units, a 52.1% year-on-year surge, bringing Chery's cumulative exports to 7.18 million vehicles. This milestone makes Chery the first Chinese automaker to surpass 7 million cumulative exports.

Following the release of relevant guidelines by three departments, including the Ministry of Commerce, Chery proactively responded by strengthening its overseas compliance systems and promoting high-quality global expansion for Chinese automobiles.
