BYD unveiled its latest flagship sedan, the Dahan, at the Chengdu Auto Show, offering three exclusive all-electric variants priced from 249,900 to 299,900 yuan. As the inaugural D-segment premium executive sedan under the Dynasty Series, the Dahan is tailored for the high-end business segment, boasting dimensions of 5256mm in length, 1999mm in width, and 1510mm in height, along with a 3130mm wheelbase. Visually, the Dahan embodies the Dynasty Dragon Face design ethos, characterized by a sleek, low-profile fastback silhouette and an active grille shutter, complemented by an optional two-tone paint scheme. The interior showcases a predominantly light-hued leather finish, paired with a two-tone steering wheel and diamond-stitch patterned seats. The cabin is outfitted with five displays to amplify the tech-savvy ambiance, complemented by metal speaker grilles with ambient lighting and rear seats featuring electric leg supports. Mechanically, the Dahan boasts a front double-wishbone and rear five-link all-aluminum suspension, standard high-traction silent tires, and a rear-wheel steering system with a maximum steering angle of 7°, enabling a remarkably tight turning radius of just 5.4 meters. In terms of powertrain, all electric variants are equipped with a 102.326kWh second-generation Blade Battery. The rear-wheel-drive long-range model is powered by a single motor with a peak output of 370kW, delivering a CLTC range of 1008km. Meanwhile, the dual-motor all-wheel-drive high-performance variant unleashes a combined power of 570kW, achieving a 0-100km/h sprint in a mere 2.9 seconds and a CLTC range of 880km.
