BYD’s Da Han EV Unveiled for Pre-sales: Priced from 249,900 Yuan, Offering Up to 1,008 Kilometers of Range

On August 21st, during the opening day of the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show, BYD launched pre-sales for its flagship large sedan within the Dynasty series—the Da Han EV pure electric model. A total of three variants are available, with prices spanning from 249,900 to 299,900 yuan. This new vehicle is branded as the 'Dynasty 9-Series Flagship' and is characterized by its substantial dimensions: 5256mm in length, 1999mm in width, and 1510mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3130mm. It also boasts an impressively low drag coefficient of 0.197. When it comes to driving range, the rear-wheel-drive variant offers a CLTC-certified range of 1,008 kilometers, while the all-wheel-drive variant provides up to 880 kilometers. The all-wheel-drive version stands out for its remarkable performance, achieving 0-100km/h acceleration in a mere 3.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 270km/h, accelerating from 100-150km/h in just 3.2 seconds, and achieving a 100-0km/h braking distance of 32.83 meters. All models of the new car come standard with 15 features, incorporate the distinctive 'Dragon Face' design, and are outfitted with premium amenities such as a Devialet 31-speaker sound system in the cabin. Additionally, it is equipped with the advanced Divine Eyes B Laser Version driver-assistance system. The Da Han EV pure electric model is anticipated to officially hit the market in the fourth quarter of this year.
