According to tech website The Information, Tesla has informed its employees that the company is preparing for the public launch of the Cybercab, with an initial rollout expected as early as this month in Austin, Texas, USA. The Cybercab is a vehicle specifically designed for autonomous driving, featuring no pedals or steering wheel, and is crucial to Tesla's strategy for realizing self-driving taxis. The company plans to deploy this vehicle in its self-driving ride-hailing service in the future. Tesla commenced public road testing of the production version of the Cybercab in June and anticipates ramping up production capacity later this year. In recent weeks, Tesla has undertaken various preparations, including road testing, employee trial rides, and training for emergency rescue personnel.
