On August 17, Beijing time, as reported by the Financial Times, BlackBerry, a former titan in the mobile phone industry, has bid farewell to the mobile phone market. However, it has found renewed success by pivoting to the automotive systems and security software sectors. In the first quarter of this year, BlackBerry achieved a positive cash flow, marking the first instance since 2017 that it has attained this crucial financial milestone at the outset of a fiscal year. Its resurgence is primarily driven by two key businesses: the QNX automotive operating system and the Secusmart encryption software. The QNX technology has been embraced by nearly all automotive manufacturers globally and has extended its reach into areas such as robotics and medical devices. Presently, it accounts for roughly half of BlackBerry's revenue. Additionally, BlackBerry offers NATO-level encrypted communication services to governments in 20 countries. The CEO of BlackBerry declared that the company has transitioned from a transitional phase to a growth phase.
