On July 28 (local time), Ford Motor Company unveiled its financial results for the second quarter of 2026. The company reported a revenue of $48.3 billion, marking a 4% year-on-year (YoY) decrease. It incurred a net loss of $1.3 billion, which also reflects a YoY decline of $1.3 billion. Despite this, its adjusted Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) rose by $400 million YoY, reaching $2.5 billion. In a positive turn, the company revised its full-year performance forecast upwards. It now anticipates adjusted EBIT to range between $10 billion and $11 billion (up from the previous estimate of $8.5 billion to $10.5 billion) and adjusted free cash flow to hit between $6 billion and $7 billion (previously forecasted at $5 billion to $6 billion).
