On July 27, Guo Shougang, the Director of the First Department of the Equipment Industry at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, revealed that since the start of this year, the penetration rate of passenger vehicles equipped with L2 integrated driving assistance functions has soared to 70.5%. Additionally, the penetration rate of passenger vehicles featuring Navigation on Autopilot (NOA) capabilities has climbed to 34.2%. Moreover, the first batch of L3 conditional autonomous driving vehicle models has been authorized to operate on roads in designated areas.
