BYD Secures Land in Hong Kong for HK$12 Million, Intended for Electric Vehicle Charging Station

Based on the press release issued by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Lands Department revealed on July 27 that New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6677, located at 77 and 79 Hiu Kwong Street in Kowloon, has been awarded to BYD (H.K.) Co., Limited (with BYD Company Limited as its parent company) for HK$12 million. The lease term for this site spans 12 years. BYD emerged as the highest bidder in the process. This plot of land, which covers an area of roughly 1,022.1 square meters, is earmarked for the development of an electric vehicle charging station.
