On July 27, Caocao Chuxing made an announcement regarding the official commencement of its Robotaxi driverless testing. This testing is unique in that it features no safety officer occupying the main driver's seat and is being carried out on actual urban roads in Binjiang District, Hangzhou. To assess the stability and service reliability of driverless operations on a smaller scale, the company has implemented a specialized site-triggered order dispatching mechanism. The test vehicles are seamlessly integrated with the 'Caocao Zhixing RAS Remote Safety Service Platform'. This platform plays a crucial role in ensuring comprehensive safety monitoring and responding promptly to emergency calls, among other functions.

At present, Caocao Chuxing has already rolled out a fleet of 100 Robotaxis in Hangzhou. Moreover, it has constructed the world's inaugural 'Green and Intelligent Traffic Island', which facilitates functions like automatic battery swapping and cleaning. The company is making significant strides in transitioning from having a safety officer in the main driver's seat to achieving fully driverless operations. It has set its sights on mass-producing the in-house developed Robotaxi model, Eva Cab, by 2027, with the aim of fostering large-scale global commercial operations.
