In light of the dealership closures in Kunming and Zhuhai, IM Motors released a statement on July 21. The statement revealed that on July 7, Kunming Zhihe Yuexing encountered a funding chain disruption caused by private lending issues. This led to a situation where certain users were unable to secure vehicle certificates necessary for registration and normal vehicle deliveries. Moreover, it also had an impact on vehicle deliveries in the Zhuhai area. By July 17, most of the user communication and situation clarification had been accomplished. From July 18 onwards, the issuance of certificates and vehicle deliveries gradually resumed. It is anticipated that all orders and vehicle deliveries for regular customers will be finalized by this weekend.
