According to the automotive aftermarket report jointly issued by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and a consulting firm, the average age of domestically produced fuel-powered passenger vehicles stands at 8.2 years. Notably, 70% of owners opt to change their cars every five years or longer. In stark contrast, the average age of new energy passenger vehicles is a mere 1.8 years, with a staggering 90% of these vehicles falling within the 1 to 3-year age bracket. This disparity highlights a significantly accelerated pace of vehicle replacement among new energy vehicle owners. The underlying reasons for this difference can be attributed to a confluence of factors, including the stage of market development, the unique attributes of the products, and the evolving attitudes of consumers.
