Recently, the People's Court of Daxing District in Beijing commenced the first-instance trial of a class-action lawsuit concerning Tesla's FSD (Full Self-Driving) feature. Ten Chinese Tesla car owners have leveled accusations of false advertising and consumer fraud against Tesla, with their collective claims surpassing 3.95 million yuan. Wang Youyin, the chief attorney representing the plaintiffs and the founder of Beijing Shengyun Law Firm, highlighted that the crux of the trial revolved around whether Tesla's FSD feature genuinely delivered the 'full self-driving capabilities' as extensively promoted. Both parties have been actively presenting evidence and counterarguments to substantiate their respective stances on this pivotal issue.
