Enjie Share has revealed that its subsidiary, Jiangsu Enjie New Material Technology Co., Ltd., is set to acquire a 100% equity interest in SKI Battery Materials Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. from SKIET, at a base price of 400 million yuan. The company being acquired is mainly involved in the research and development, production, sales, and technical services related to lithium-ion battery separators and coated films. It utilizes wet-process film-forming technology and currently operates eight base film production lines, boasting a designed annual production capacity of approximately 940 million square meters, along with ten coating production lines. This acquisition plan has already received approval from the board of directors and now awaits further review and approval from the shareholders' meeting, as well as the anti-monopoly review for concentration of undertakings conducted by the State Administration for Market Regulation.
