On May 27, news emerged that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has finalized the development of the automotive standardization framework for the year 2026. This framework is designed to bolster top-tier strategic planning, with the overarching goal of fostering high-caliber growth within the automotive sector. Specifically, in terms of nurturing innovation within burgeoning fields, the framework will expedite the creation and refinement of standards in domains such as driving automation, connected vehicle functionalities, information security, resource management, automotive software, automotive data, and the integration of 'vehicle-road-cloud' technologies. Additionally, it will streamline the process of formulating and revising standards for pivotal components like automotive electronics and automotive chips. Simultaneously, for forthcoming industries such as automotive artificial intelligence and novel automotive formats, proactive standard planning and strategic positioning will be undertaken.
