The AITO M9 series is set to feature the cutting-edge Xuanwu body structure 2.0, boasting a design with thirteen horizontal and eleven vertical frame elements. Aluminum alloy and high-strength steel make up a remarkable 91% of its composition. The front and rear crash structures of the vehicle have undergone optimization, with the width, height, and bending strength of the crash beams seeing enhancements of 5.2%, 36%, and 32.1%, respectively.
On the sides, the vehicle is fortified with high-strength door crash beams and eight sections of 2200MPa+TRB ultra-high-strength hot-formed steel. This results in a significant 52.5% increase in door strength and a 19% boost in roof crush strength. For added safety, the vehicle is equipped with up to 13 airbags, including a sensor-integrated multi-stage variable driver's airbag, second-row far-side airbags, and head-thorax integrated airbags. It also supports an AI adaptive protection system.
The launch event for the new AITO M9 has been rescheduled from 19:00 to 14:30 on May 27, and orders will commence being accepted post-event. Prior to this, cumulative reservations for this model have already surpassed 50,000 units. The pre-sale offers two versions: standard and Ultimate extended-length, with starting prices set at RMB 499,800 and RMB 669,800, respectively.
