NIO announced today that its brand-new ES8 has achieved a significant milestone by delivering its 110,000th unit in Nanjing. Just one month ago, this model set a record in China’s passenger vehicle market, becoming the fastest high-end vehicle (priced above RMB 400,000) to reach 100,000 deliveries. NIO also highlighted that since outpacing competitors in September 2025, sales of its pure electric three-row models have surpassed those of extended-range models for eight consecutive months. The all-new NIO ES8 pure electric SUV, launched on September 20, 2025, is priced between RMB 406,800 and RMB 446,800. With the battery rental option, prices drop to between RMB 298,800 and RMB 338,800. The vehicle offers six exterior color options and boasts impressive dimensions, measuring 5,280mm in length with a wheelbase of 3,130mm, making it one of the largest pure electric SUVs available in the Chinese market. Inside, the ES8 features a Skyline display, a floating center console screen, and the latest NOMI system, along with a total of 111 physical buttons throughout the cabin. Powered by a full-domain 900V high-voltage architecture, the dual-motor setup delivers a peak power of 520kW and a torque of 700N・m. This enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 3.97 seconds and achieve a braking distance of 34.9m. The ES8 comes standard with a 102kWh 4C battery pack, offering a CLTC range of 635km and an energy consumption rate of 16.6kWh per 100km.
