On May 21st, reports surfaced indicating that Tesla's FSD Supervised version had become available in China. However, after thorough verification, it appears that this news may amount to nothing more than a false alarm. Following similar official announcements made in June of the previous year, the pertinent features were only introduced to around 5,000 vehicles. Tesla's Chief Financial Officer has voiced optimism that FSD could secure approval from Chinese regulatory authorities in the third quarter of this year. Yet, previous forecasts of a similar nature made by Elon Musk have failed to come to fruition, and Tesla's official Weibo account has remained silent on the matter. Consequently, owners who have already invested RMB 64,000 in purchasing FSD may still be required to exercise patience.
