Xiaomi Automobile has officially declared that the Xiaomi YU7 GT has established a fresh SUV lap record at the Nürburgring, clocking in at 7 minutes and 34.931 seconds. This remarkable feat was accomplished by the company's chief test driver, Ren Zhoucan, who has the distinction of being the first Chinese driver to obtain official lap certification from the Nürburgring. Lei Jun took to social media to share this achievement, highlighting the immense challenge of achieving a swift lap time for an SUV at the Nürburgring. He commended Ren Zhoucan for his outstanding performance, which has etched a significant milestone for Chinese drivers at this renowned circuit.
