Recently, BMW China has officially rolled out the upgraded version of the locally-produced BMW iX3. The new car's exterior design remains largely consistent with its overseas counterpart, featuring digital angel wing daytime running lights and a 3D illuminated grille, which have become the hallmark design elements for this new generation of models. The vehicle's dimensions are 4885mm in length, 1895mm in width, and 1635mm in height, with the wheelbase extended to 3005mm. This extra space is fully utilized to enhance the comfort of the second-row seating. The new model offers nine exterior paint options, including Coastal Blue, and showcases a semi-concealed door handle design exclusive to the Chinese market. It is also equipped with a triple safety redundancy system. From an intelligence perspective, it incorporates BMW's bespoke large language model technology, developed in collaboration with Alibaba, enabling full-scenario pilot-assist driving capabilities. Powered by BMW's sixth-generation eDrive electric drive technology, it achieves a range exceeding 900 kilometers under CLTC conditions and supports a rapid 427-kilometer charge in just 10 minutes. The new car is set to make its debut at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show and is slated for release in the first half of the year.
