On April 21st, during its 2026 'Super Tech Day' event, CATL introduced the No.26 Chocolate Battery Swap Module. This innovative battery solution incorporates an 800V high-voltage architecture, initially offering a 75 kWh capacity for the first market release, with plans for higher-capacity versions in the future. It is designed to be fully compatible with B to C-class 800V electric vehicles, thereby extending the Chocolate Battery Swap's reach across a comprehensive spectrum of vehicle models, from A0 to C-class. Furthermore, CATL revealed that its passenger vehicle 'Chocolate' and heavy-duty truck 'Qiji' battery swap stations will now come standard with Shenxing ultra-fast charging stations, fostering a seamless integration between battery swapping and charging services.
