The BYD Tang EV, the inaugural D-class flagship SUV from BYD's Dynasty series, is set to kick off pre-sales at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24. This vehicle, which first graced the stage on March 5, is earmarked for a market launch in the first half of this year. The all-electric model is outfitted with the second-generation Blade Battery, boasting an impressive CLTC range of up to 950 kilometers, and stands as the world's first to incorporate the most potent flash charging technology available.

Sporting a design that is both straightforward and refined, the Tang EV stretches nearly 5.3 meters in length, with a wheelbase surpassing 3 meters. It offers an effective usable interior space of 6 square meters and accommodates a 2+2+3 seven-seat configuration. Constructed on the cutting-edge e-Platform 3.0, it integrates a full-domain 1000V high-voltage framework, enabling ultra-high-voltage fast charging capabilities of up to 1000kW.

This vehicle is a trailblazer with 29 global firsts to its name. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.9 seconds, navigates corners with a minimum turning radius of 5.2 meters, and is equipped with the Yunchan-A air suspension system, which also supports rear-wheel steering.
