On April 21, during the communication session that followed Changan Automobile Group's press conference on its global strategy, Chairman Zhu Huarong unveiled a strategic plan to merge Avatr and Shenlan Automobile. The goal is to establish a mid-to-high-end automotive brand with a production capacity of 1.5 million vehicles by 2030. This includes 500,000 units from Avatr and 1 million units from Shenlan Automobile. This strategic integration is anticipated to boost operational efficiency and is slated for completion by the end of this year.
