At the global strategy unveiling event of Changan Automobile Group, Chairman Zhu Huarong emphasized that the automotive industry's competitive landscape will be predominantly shaped over the next three to five years, with the entry criteria for the global top 10 automakers steadily increasing. Changan Automobile is set to concentrate on nurturing three key digital and intelligent new energy brands: Avatr, Deepal, and Changan Qiyuan. The company has outlined plans to attain production and sales figures of 2.4 million to 3.6 million new energy vehicles by 2030, with overseas sales projected to reach 1.5 million to 1.8 million units. Concurrently, Changan Automobile introduced its '1445' strategy, which will unfold in two distinct phases, aiming to generate RMB 600 billion in revenue and secure a place among the global top 10 automakers by 2030. By 2035, the company envisions consolidating its position within the global top tier. Over the forthcoming five years, Changan Automobile will prioritize a significant product strategy, streamlining its product range by 43% to craft global bestsellers. It is anticipated that by 2030, the annual production and sales of vehicles will soar to 4 million to 5 million units, with new energy vehicles constituting over 60% and overseas sales contributing 35% to 40%.
