Lu Tian, General Manager of BYD’s Wangchao Network Sales Division, announced that the third-generation Yuan PLUS will make its global premiere at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, where it will be positioned as a “High-Performance, Smart, and Enjoyable Flash-Charging SUV”. The vehicle has already been listed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s catalog of new energy vehicle models eligible for purchase tax exemptions. It will come with two battery pack options: a 57.545kWh version and a 68.547kWh version, offering CLTC pure electric driving ranges of 540km and 630km, respectively. The vehicle measures 4,665mm in length, 1,895mm in width, and 1,675mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,770mm. It features a rear-mounted single-motor system with two motor options: 200kW and 240kW. The model is expected to incorporate second-generation Blade Battery technology and offer flash-charging capabilities.
