On April 20, BYD unveiled its brand-new Haishi 05 'Twin Lions' series, which encompasses both DM-i plug-in hybrid and EV pure electric variants. Specifically, the Haishi 05 DM-i is available in five trim levels, with prices ranging from RMB 97,900 to RMB 127,900. Meanwhile, the Haishi 05 EV comes in three trim levels, priced between RMB 119,900 and RMB 145,900. The Haishi 05 EV is outfitted with the second-generation Blade Battery and incorporates flash charging technology, delivering CLTC driving ranges of 540 kilometers and 630 kilometers. Leveraging the fifth-generation DM technology and a dedicated plug-in hybrid Blade Battery, the Haishi 05 DM-i achieves an impressive fuel efficiency of merely 3.1 liters per 100 kilometers under NEDC conditions when the battery is running low. The new model offers an optional LiDAR system, supports the 'Celestial Eye B' assisted driving laser version, and is equipped with the DiLink 150 smart cockpit. Safety features include seven airbags distributed throughout the vehicle, an internal skeleton-type CTB battery-body integration safety architecture, and a wheelbase measuring 2,770 millimeters.
