Recently, in Mianyang, Sichuan, a Tesla Cybertruck collided with a sedan, in what appears to be the first reported crash involving this particular model in China. During the collision, the front parts of the Cybertruck detached and underwent minor deformation. In stark contrast, the sedan sustained significant damage. The Cybertruck is renowned for its stainless-steel body, which boasts exceptional hardness. However, this characteristic also renders it challenging and expensive to repair. It's worth noting that the Cybertruck has not yet been officially launched for sale in China; all units currently on the road are imported through parallel channels. The price for the dual-motor variant surpasses 2 million yuan once it arrives in the country, and it does not come with the backing of an official warranty or after-sales service.
