On April 9, 2026, Renault Group announced that it would consolidate all its charging businesses and related services under the new brand Plug Inn, marking a new chapter in the group's electrification journey. The brand will be first applied to fast-charging stations in France starting in April, with plans for full coverage within the year. Previously, the charging business under 'Mobilize Beyond Automotive' has been integrated into the group's commercial operations system. The Plug Inn brand encompasses three core services: Plug Inn Fast Charge ultra-high-speed charging network, equipped with 320kW chargers capable of restoring approximately 400 kilometers of range in 15 minutes; Plug Inn Powerbox bidirectional charging solutions, incorporating smart V2G technology; and Plug Inn Charge Pass unified payment solution, covering the entire European region. Charging stations are primarily located at Renault dealerships, adjacent to major transportation routes, and are open to electric vehicles of all brands. They offer 24/7 operational support and 'plug-and-charge' functionality, with some stations equipped with lounges.
